Michelle Snow has been a church musician and choir director in various Protestant denominations for approximately 25 years.  She has Bachelor's degrees in Music Therapy and Music Education and a Master's degree in Adult Education from Florida State University.  She comes to us from Christ Church Anglican in Crawfordville, FL, where she served as music director for over 10 years.  While living in Wakulla County, she maintained her own private music school where she taught piano and voice, taught Adult Education and high school Chorus, and served as a music therapist in the Wakulla County Public Schools.   She is currently teaching music at Palm Avenue Exceptional Student Center for Duval County Public Schools.

 

Michelle has seen firsthand the power of music to literally change people's lives and fervently believes that it is an integral part of worship.  Music has the unique ability to bypass the intellect and reach straight into our hearts and souls, enabling closer communion with God.  Praising God through music provides a direct link from our hearts to His all-encompassing love.  Michelle is delighted to have a new church family and looks forward with eager anticipation to serving God and his people at St. Barnabas through sharing one of His most precious gifts to us, that of music.  She asks any and all who would like to be a part of this joyful and fulfilling ministry to join her on Sundays.  Let's sing together, and with God's help, we will enhance the worship experience for all.
